Why ESG Is Embedded In Everything We Do

For the third year, it truly is my pleasure to bring you our annual Environmental, Social and Governance report.

Whilst all letters of ‘E’, ‘S’ and ‘G’ are equally important, this year we have chosen to emphasise our social value and showcase how our ESG culture is in all that we do, how its reflected in our people and of course, to our residents that we serve.

UK Housing and in particular, the Private Sector have this year seen a number of holistic challenges both strategically and operationally.

Whilst we saw challenges in central government policy & legislation change, funding change and increasing resident need,one thing has stood strong throughout that I’m extremely proud about; our people.

Regardless of challenge, we as an organisation remain committed in putting our people and partners first in achieving our mission to deliver exceptional services for our most important asset; our residents.

This year, you’ll notice a few exciting changes in how we tell our annual ESG story.

We’re not going to just ‘tell you’ about our impact, we are proudly going to ‘show you’ through the use of linked QR codes. Each one of these will bring you to a video or item you’ll be able to directly see or hear, essentially bringing it to life and giving you a ‘3D’ look at how we’ve done this.

This year has been one of not just social growth for us as an organisation but for me as both a professional and leader. To work with such committed professionals at all levels has been nothing short of incredible and I thank each and every person involved
within our progress.

I hope you enjoy reading and seeing our achievements throughout this report as much as I and the teams have enjoyed being in its creation.
